Nanga is no different from ink painting, but what makes it different is that it depicts the inner self, which was popular among literati, and is accompanied by a caption explaining the subject of the painting.
Otowa Gallery's Nanga painting classes offer basic, beginner, intermediate, advanced, and special (applied) courses.
The course content and tuition fees are the same as those offered at the Kyoto classroom.
The only difference is that while the Kyoto classroom requires 6 months to complete each course, the Otowa Gallery Nanga classroom requires 4 months to complete each course.
Even if you are unable to attend a certain month, you can carry over your classes to a new month and complete each course by taking four sessions.
We look forward to your participation.
Please choose a date and time that is convenient for you to apply for the course.
Please make payment by bank transfer for each month you visit.
*Cancellation fees (full amount) will be charged from the day before the class date you have applied for.
